My puppies are nonshedding; Peekapoos that are 2nd generation (peekapoo bred to peekapoo) will shed and won't have the curly tails. Only first generation (purebred peke to purebred poodle will be hypoallergenic. Peekapoos that have the mother a poodle will have long legs and long noses. That is why we only use pekingese moms in our breeding program, we prefer the smooshed faces, short legs and curly tails.
A peekapoos hair will grow like a person's until it is cut, they require grooming (usually every 6 to 8 weeks) unless you plan on keeping them in full long hair, in which case you should have it done every 2 to 4 weeks. When I groom peekapoos, I groom the head rounded like a bichon frise, short body and legs, but a full, fluffy tail and ears. It is my personal preference, you can shave them short all over, there is no wrong way to groom a peekapoo, it is just how you prefer them to look. Here are some photos of peekapoos, some in full coat, some shaved down.

Sometimes the light colored dogs will get tear staining on their eyes, to control the staining you need to change the PH balance of the dog, you can add 1/2 tsp of powdered buttermilk to their food, or you can try Sensible Choice Dog food (the chicken formula) Pet Supplies Plus can order it for you, they don't carry it anymore but they do order it for me, it does take time, it took 3 to 4 months before it got rid of the teary eyes, it's not an immediate fix
